Our client is searching for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the evolution of a global SaaS platform. We're looking for someone who has personally driven major initiatives from concept through deployment and production support. Someone who has designed systems, influenced technical direction, solved complex architectural challenges, and elevated the engineers around them.

You'll be trusted to make meaningful technical decisions, architect scalable solutions, and balance performance, reliability, security, and delivery speed. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay within a narrow development lane. It's for an engineer who enjoys operating at a broader level while remaining hands-on and deeply technical.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING

• Scalable SaaS products used by customers across multiple markets
• Large-scale cloud-native applications and distributed systems
• Complex backend services, APIs, and integrations
• Cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical business functionality
• Reusable platform capabilities that enable future product growth
• High-availability systems designed for long-term scalability and reliability

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of complex software solutions and cloud services
• Drive architecture and design decisions across multiple systems and components
• Own major features and services from design through long-term production operation
• Design scalable APIs, integrations, and service workflows
• Improve platform reliability, security, performance, and operational maturity
• Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and complex troubleshooting initiatives
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on collaboration
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to shape technical roadmaps
• Influence engineering standards and help drive continuous improvement across the organisation

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong software design and architecture experience within modern SaaS environments
• Expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core and RESTful API development
• Experience building and operating cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Advanced SQL and database optimisation experience
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software platforms

Problem-Solving & Ownership

• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale systems throughout their full lifecycle
• Track record of driving complex projects from architecture through delivery
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical and business priorities
• Proven success resolving complex production and scalability challenges
• Ability to simplify complexity and create sustainable long-term solutions

Collaboration & Communication

• Experience leading technical discussions and architectural workshops
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven mentoring and coaching experience
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
