SUMMARY: An intimate, luxury lodge is seeking an experienced and detail-driven SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER to guide housekeeping operations and uphold the highest standards of presentation across the property

POSITION INFO: This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in flawless attention to detail, manages a small team with confidence, and thrives in the fast-paced rhythm of an intimate safari lodge environment. This is an urgent appointment, with immediate availability highly advantageous. Core Criteria: Previous experience in a senior housekeeping or supervisory role within a luxury lodge or hospitality environment Strong leadership and staff management skills High attention to detail and consistently excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation Sound knowledge of housekeeping systems, stock control, and linen management Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote setting Core Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all housekeeping operations across guest suites and common areas Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to consistently high standards Conduct regular inspections to ensure impeccable presentation throughout the property Manage linen, amenities, and cleaning stock control and ordering Liaise with maintenance and management on any property upkeep requirements Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards throughout housekeeping operations Assist with staff scheduling and rostering as needed Ensure a seamless, five-star guest experience through consistently excellent room presentation This is a live-in position.
