Senior IT, OT Network & Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT, OT Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to manage and maintain both corporate IT and industrial operational technology (OT) infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, reliability and availability of enterprise systems, virtual environments, networks, cybersecurity platforms, industrial communications infrastructure and SCADA-related systems.

The role combines traditional IT administration responsibilities with advanced networking, cybersecurity and industrial automation infrastructure support. The successful candidate will support both office and field environments and will participate in the design, implementation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of critical systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT administration, enterprise networking, OT/ICS infrastructure, cybersecurity or industrial automation environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• Fortinet NSE certification
• Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server certifications
• VMware, Proxmox or virtualisation certifications
• Industrial networking or cybersecurity certifications
• Experience in oil & gas, pipelines, mining, utilities or critical infrastructure environments
• CompTIA Security+, Network+ or similar certifications

Pay: R600 000,00 - R1 000 000,00 per year
