The Senior Key Accounts Manager acts as a chief strategic advisor and commercial growth engine for tier-one enterprise accounts. Positioned at the intersection of retail operations and advanced technology, you will align executive business objectives with custom data analytics, predictive modelling, and scalable software solutions - unlocking measurable ROI and long-term enterprise value.
What You Will Do
- Champion Enterprise Partnerships: Serve as the strategic account lead for key enterprise clients, aligning technology and data services with their long-term executive business plans.
- Drive Portfolio Expansion: Formulate proactive account growth strategies, identify capability gaps, and design bespoke analytical/predictive modelling solutions that maximise client ROI.
- Lead Commercial Negotiations: Own annual contract reviews, commercial renewals, Scope of Work (SOW) definitions, and legal/procurement alignment.
- Enable Pre-Sales & Innovation: Lead discovery sessions, build proof-of-concept business cases, and pitch new technological innovations to prospective enterprise accounts.
- Develop High-Performing Teams: Oversee operational team performance, capacity planning, and talent development across the Client Success function.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary degree/diploma in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, or related field; 8+ years of experience in FMCG, retail, or data technology environments.
- Strategic Account Management: 3+ years driving commercial growth, managing high-value account portfolios, leading budget allocations, and executing enterprise contract negotiations.
- AI & Data Fluency: Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of business intelligence, data warehousing, predictive analytics, and software integration.
- Leadership Capabilities: Proven experience mentoring, leading, and expanding Client Success teams to drive performance and retention.
