WE ARE HIRING A SENIOR LEGAL SECRETARY
Recruiting on behalf of our client.
We are looking for an experienced, senior legal secretary with strong exposure to Debt Collection and Legal Administration to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced court and client-facing environment.
What You'll Do
- Draft legal documents for the Magistrate's Court and High Court.
- Manage court correspondence and court systems.
- Handle settlements, reconciliations, and the drafting of accounts.
- Liaise with clients, attorneys, and financial institutions.
- Attend court and work with sheriffs, the City Council, and the Master's Office.
- Support advocates with case preparation and client consultations.
- Work closely and collaboratively as part of a team.
What We're Looking For
- Matric (Grade 12) at minimum.
- Senior-level legal secretarial experience, ideally in Debt Collection and Legal Administration.
- Fully proficient in Afrikaans; Afrikaans as a home language is strongly preferred.
- Over 40 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and able to drive a manual-transmission vehicle.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
