Are you an experienced People Partner who builds trusted relationships with senior leaders, uses insight to solve business challenges and creates practical people solutions that improve performance? At Sigma, we’re looking for a Senior People Partner to lead our People Partnering team, taking responsibility for setting direction, providing day-to-day leadership and ensuring the team delivers high-quality, commercially focused people support across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead, coach and develop a team of People Partners, shape effective people plans, influence senior leaders and take responsibility for ensuring people plans across the business, developed by the team, are appropriate, effective and delivered to achieve measurable business outcomes.

A bit more about the Opportunity...: What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
- Lead, coach and develop the People Partnering team, setting clear direction, building capability and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across the business.
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders to understand business challenges and create people-focused solutions that improve performance.
- Coach and challenge leaders constructively, strengthening leadership capability and supporting confident decision-making.
- Lead and support organisational change, transformation and business improvement activity.
- Use people insight, data and commercial thinking to identify risks, opportunities and actions that support sustainable growth.
- Take responsibility for ensuring people plans across the business, developed by the People Partnering team, are commercially sound, appropriate, effective and delivered to improve performance, retention, attendance, succession and capability outcomes.
- Create a positive, performance-focused team environment, providing guidance, challenge and support so the team can deliver confidently and consistently.
- Influence business decisions through credible people expertise, insight and effective stakeholder partnership.
- Work collaboratively across People teams to ensure activity is joined up, practical and aligned to business needs.
- Focus on creating measurable people outcomes that help Sigma improve performance and strengthen organisational capability.

You’re a commercially minded People Partner and confident people leader who can build strong relationships, lead and develop a team, influence with credibility and translate people insight into practical action that improves business performance.
At your core, you’re passionate about leading others to deliver excellent people support and helping leaders solve business challenges through people-focused solutions. You bring team leadership, strategic thinking, commercial awareness, relationship-building skills and a delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Key measures of success will include leadership capability improvement, performance improvement, retention and attendance improvement, people plan delivery, and succession and capability outcomes.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR, Business Partnering or a related People discipline.
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team within a People, HR or operational partnering environment.
- Proven experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
- Experience leading organisational change and transformation activity.
- Strong understanding of performance, capability and talent management.
- Proven experience using insight to create strategic operational plans that improve business performance.
- Experience influencing business decisions through people insight, commercial thinking and stakeholder partnership.
- Strong influencing, negotiating, strategic thinking and relationship-building skills.
- BPO, contact centre or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
