Senior Sous Chef (M/F)

What will you do?

• Support the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with food quality, presentation, and service standards
• Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and food safety regulations
• Monitor stock levels, food costs, and wastage to achieve budget targets
• Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offerings
• Oversee staff scheduling and workforce planning
• Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to company standards

What are we looking for?

• 3 - 5 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years in a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef position at a hotel.
• Previous experience within a 4-star hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environment
• Professional Culinary Arts qualification
• HACCP certification and strong food safety knowledge
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of food costing, stock control, and kitchen administration
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Proficiency in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
