What will you do?
- Support the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient service delivery
- Ensure compliance with food quality, presentation, and service standards
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, food costs, and wastage to achieve budget targets
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade
- Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offerings
- Oversee staff scheduling and workforce planning
- Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to company standards
What are we looking for?
- 3 - 5 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years in a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef position at a hotel.
- Previous experience within a 4-star hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environment
- Professional Culinary Arts qualification
- HACCP certification and strong food safety knowledge
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of food costing, stock control, and kitchen administration
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficiency in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
