Senior Support Network Engineer – Remote****Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours

About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Senior Support Network Engineer to support and maintain ISP and fixed wireless network infrastructure while delivering exceptional technical support to U.S.-based B2B customers.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong networking expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with wireless networking technologies, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high network availability, resolving technical issues, and supporting mission-critical connectivity solutions.

*What You’ll Do**Network Operations & Support Provide technical support to U.S.-based B2B customers.

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot MikroTik and Cisco routers and switches across core and edge ISP networks.
  • Monitor network performance, resolve outages, and ensure high network availability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.

Fixed Wireless Infrastructure* Plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) infrastructure.

  • Support Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) wireless links.
  • Work with wireless platforms including:
    • Cambium
      • Ubiquiti / UniFi
      • Aviat
      • Siklu / Ceragon
  • Support fixed wireless, managed Wi-Fi, Starlink, and wireless mesh/backhaul solutions.

Routing & Network Management* Implement and maintain dynamic routing protocols, including:

    • OSPF
      • BGP
  • Maintain reliable routing across ISP network infrastructure.
  • Support network performance optimization and stability.

Required Experience & Skills* Flawless written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Previous experience in customer-facing technical support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with fixed wireless/WISP technologies, including:
    • Starlink
      • Managed Wi-Fi
      • Cambium
      • Ubiquiti / UniFi
      • Siklu / Ceragon
  • Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting MikroTik and Cisco networking equipment.
  • Experience implementing and supporting OSPF and BGP.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting PTP and PTMP wireless networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have* Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.

  • ITSM experience, preferably with Salesforce.
  • Experience with:
    • Starlink
      • 4G/5G networking
      • Peplink SD-WAN
  • Network certifications such as:
    • CCNA
      • Network+
      • Equivalent certifications

What a Typical Day Looks Like* Monitor network health and respond to customer support requests.

  • Troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless connectivity issues.
  • Configure and maintain MikroTik and Cisco network devices.
  • Support fixed wireless infrastructure and resolve outages.
  • Work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain reliable network operations.

In short: You’ll support, troubleshoot, and optimize ISP and fixed wireless network infrastructure while delivering exceptional technical support to B2B customers.
