The Role
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, executive search, and headhunting to join our dynamic, fast-growing team. This role extends beyond traditional recruiting—it's about targeted talent acquisition, strategic headhunting, and relationship-driven recruitment. You will act as a trusted advisor and advocate, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their workforce needs and deliver impactful results.
In this position, you'll apply advanced sourcing, headhunting techniques, and consultative selling to identify, engage, and secure top-tier talent—particularly passive and hard-to-find candidates. Your success will be rooted in your ability to combine recruitment strategy with a high-performance, sales-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Sourcing: Serve as a consultative advisor to hiring managers, aligning talent strategies with organizational goals and offering bespoke recruitment solutions.
- Headhunting & Direct Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage passive candidates using advanced sourcing tactics such as Boolean search, competitor mapping, and executive headhunting methodologies.
- High-Impact Engagement: Utilize storytelling and sales strategies to market roles and opportunities persuasively. Influence decision-making and build trust with both candidates and stakeholders.
- Pipeline Development: Build and sustain talent pools by developing relationships with high-potential individuals and leveraging professional networks, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Innovative Talent Marketing: Create compelling job ads, direct messaging campaigns, and branding content that resonate with niche talent segments.
- Closing & Offer Negotiation: Lead the offer process from initial pitch through to acceptance, navigating candidate expectations and aligning with company hiring goals.
- Data-Backed Insights: Track KPIs and sourcing metrics to refine strategies and improve efficiency in candidate conversion and quality of hire.
- Employer Brand Champion: Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at all touchpoints, enhancing employer brand visibility across multiple platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recruitment, with a strong background in headhunting, executive search, or niche talent acquisition.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to pitch roles, influence passive candidates, and navigate complex offer negotiations.
- Sourcing Mastery: Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM platforms, and talent mapping. Comfort with sourcing in specialised or competitive industries.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to craft tailored messaging and build rapport with both clients and candidates.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with ATS tools, sourcing platforms, CRM systems, and video-based recruitment tools.
- Strategic Thinking: Agile problem solver with a proactive mindset in tackling recruitment challenges.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at building trust and maintaining long-term stakeholder and candidate relationships.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field.
- Certifications in recruitment (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, AIRS) are a plus.
- Previous experience in agency recruiting, retained search, or high-growth/start-up environments.
- Familiarity with talent intelligence tools and competitive market research.
