Purpose of the Job The purpose of the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist role is to participate in the end to end design, development, execution and monitoring of Recruitment solutions including but not limited to talent sourcing, attraction and retention solutions and services as well as the identification of potential talent to fit the relevant Leadership succession, critical or scarce skills pools and promoting these candidates to the Recruitment services team. Whilst the role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a range of current Recruitment frameworks and capabilities within the Talent Solutions space, the role undertakes research to continuously update best practices and trending recruitment approaches. Additionally, the role refines recruitment strategies for specific segment requirements and caters for this in the Recruitment solutions framework (graduate, youth, bulk etc.), ensuring that all recruitment practices are aligned and provide for consistent practice during Recruitment services recruitment execution.

Participating in the development of acquisition methodologies, frameworks, tools, and processes, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the organisation as well as with the broader talent strategy and processes around, rewards and recognition, and Recruitment Services.
Supporting the Recruitment Services team in the execution of acquisition and recruitment frameworks, processes and guidelines that enable a great experience for all candidates and make Shoprite an employer of choice
Applying research to evolve and make recommendations pertaining to the Shoprite acquisition framework, processes, or technologies to enhance and align with best and trending practice.
Understand and support specific segment recruitment within the Acquisition framework and align with the talent strategies in terms of building talent through graduate and other programmes.
Applying the of critical and scarce skills management frameworks.

Aligning participation to deliver relevant Talent Solution services to the business.
Participating in the enablement of an innovative, agile and employee centric culture where employees are supported, empowered, and valued within the Talent Solution team.
Participating in the enablement of an employee wellness culture within the Talent Solution team to ensure that employees are supported mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Participating in the enablement of a culture of open and transparent communication within the Talent Solution team.
Financial, Reporting & BI
Monitoring of Talent Solution costs whilst ensuring service delivery to the Shoprite Group.
Collection and use of Talent data and business intelligence to transform the delivery of Talent Solutions. Governance & Compliance
Ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative governance frameworks, legislation, and standards.
Adhering to governance structures, policies, processes, frameworks applicable to the role.
Ensuring data management processes adhere to continually changing privacy and legal compliance requirements. Future-Fit
Participating in the integration and effective flow of work with other solution areas and business.
Identifying relevant technology requirements for the Talent Solutions team and ensuring optimal utilisation thereof.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in Talent Solutions and related processes to ensure ongoing process efficiency. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Experience +4 years in an acquisition solution and/or a recruitment orientated or equivalent role, overseeing the execution of recruitment experiences and/or delivering acquisition solutions in an HR environment within related HR Talent frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidelines
Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar
Demonstrable knowledge of Acquistion Solutions within the FMCG, retail sector
Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations
We value practical learning experiences, if a candidate does not have a degree, demonstrable relevant experience will be considered. A proven track record of delivering Acquisition/Recruitment Solutions or services within the business environment providing support to a recruitment service for execution
