Senior Tax/Accounting Consultant

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Tax & Accounting Consultant to join our team. This is a senior-level role where you’ll manage complex tax and accounting matters, provide strategic advisory services, and mentor junior staff. You’ll have the opportunity to directly influence client outcomes and contribute to the growth of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax consulting and compliance services.
• Oversee accounting processes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise clients on tax planning, structuring, and business strategy.
• Review and sign off on financial statements and tax returns.
• Mentor junior consultants and accountants.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in tax and accounting consulting.
• Strong technical knowledge of South African tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
