Senior Technical Consultant

BlueBridge One is the leading EMEA NetSuite Solution Provider with 20 years of experience in marketing, selling, implementing, and supporting the NetSuite cloud business management suite.

Due to business growth, an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior ERP Technical Consultant to join our Global Services team has arisen. Your role will be to work directly with the company’s customers to understand their business requirements and design and build solutions for them using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud development platform and other integrating technologies.

As a Senior Consultant, you will also play a key role in driving innovation, mentoring team members, and contributing to technical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support customised NetSuite ERP applications
• Work with consultants and customers on solution design for business gaps and technical solutions
• Create and maintain accurate project and time-tracking records
• Produce technical documentation, including specifications and end-user administrator guides
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior consultants and developers
• Contribute to technical standards, reusable assets, and development best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and customer outcomes through automation and innovation
• Utilize AI-enabled tools responsibly to accelerate SuiteScript creation, optimize code quality, troubleshoot complex bugs, and automate technical documentation.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development workflows to build, test, and deploy high-quality NetSuite solutions at an accelerated pace.

As part of this role, you will be mentored by the Technical Solution Architect and complete self-driven training and certification to upskill on relevant NetSuite features and emerging technologies.

Industry Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent significant hands-on experience
• NetSuite development experience is desirable, but equivalent ERP experience may also be considered (5+ years total experience)
• Deep understanding and 5+ years of solid experience with JavaScript for server-side and client-side development
• SuiteScript 2.0 experience and working knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0 would be advantageous
• Integration approaches and strategies; preferably with web services and APIs
• HTML and CSS experience required
• Extensive experience with ERD and database design
• Strong technical capability to develop from scratch and maintain all types of scripts
• Experience in requirements gathering, specification, estimation, and development planning
• Good knowledge of transactional business processing, including accounting principles
• Experience or interest in automation platforms, intelligent workflows, or productivity tooling will be advantageous
• Practical, daily experience using AI development accelerators (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.

Remuneration

• A basic annual salary range is R650K to R858K p/a , plus competitive benefits, depending on skills and experience.
