General Summary of the Role The Senior Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth of Ansell’s PPE portfolio across South Africa, with a strong focus on the mining industry. Working closely with distributors and end users, you will build long‑term customer relationships, increase conversions to the Ansell range, and position Ansell as a trusted partner through value‑based and consultative selling. - Country-specific benefits aligned to your location What your role will be?* Own and grow sales performance across the assigned territory to achieve revenue, margin, and market‑share targets
- Develop and execute monthly sales and conversion plans aligned with Ansell’s strategy
- Drive sales through distributors while engaging directly with key end users
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expansion within the mining sector
- Build strong relationships with distributors, end users, and internal stakeholders
- Train and coach distributor sales teams on Ansell products, solutions, and selling methods
- Plan and execute joint customer visits and engagement strategies with distributor partners
- Maintain accurate customer, account, and opportunity data in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Represent Ansell at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums
- Monitor market and competitor activity and translate insights into commercial actions
- Manage pricing, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policy, and ethical standards
**What will you bring to Ansell?*Education Preferably bachelor’s degree in business, or related fields
Job Experience* Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Mandatory experience in the PPE industry
- Strong experience within the South African mining industry
- Proven success selling through distributors and dealer networks
- Experience with consultative, value‑based selling approaches
- Track record in new business development and territory growth
Knowledge and Skills* Strong analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities
- Confident user of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent customer engagement and product demonstration skills
- Social selling capabilities
- Fluent English a
- Valid Category B driving license
