Senior Travel & Safari Bookkeeper / Accountant
Cape Town | 7–10 years' proven experience
We're seeking an experienced finance professional who understands the financial complexities of the South African and Southern African safari industry and can independently manage our full back-office accounting function.
Key responsibilities
- Full-function bookkeeping to balance sheet, reconciliations and month-end accounts.
- Lodge and supplier payments, client deposits, refunds and multi-currency transactions.
- Travel-partner commissions, payroll, VAT, PAYE and statutory returns.
- Management accounts, cash-flow forecasting and financial reporting.
What you bring
A relevant accounting qualification, at least 7 years' proven industry experience, advanced Excel and accounting software skills, and sound knowledge of Southern African safari operations. Personal travel experience, excellent attention to detail and contactable professional references are essential.
