SEO Specialist / SEO Manager (Web & Socials)
Luminous Agency | Remote-first, Johannesburg
We need an SEO lead who understands that search doesn't stop at Google. You'll own visibility across our clients' websites and social channels.
What you'll do
Plan and run SEO strategy across web and social platforms
Handle technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content structure
Run keyword research, competitor analysis, and regular site audits
Improve social discoverability (profiles, captions, hashtags, platform search)
Brief and guide copywriters and designers on SEO best practice
Report on rankings, traffic, and conversions in plain terms
What you bring
[2–4+] years in SEO, ideally agency-side
Strong technical SEO skills (site speed, crawlability, schema, Core Web Vitals)
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush or Ahrefs
An understanding of social search and content performance
Confidence in owning results and managing client expectations
Nice to have
Experience with finance or other regulated industries
Team leadership experience (for the Manager level)
Details Remote, part time, market related.
Pay: R10 000,00 - R17 000,00 per month
