Job Advert Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor & Warranty Clerk. As one of the faces of our dealership's service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, and ensuring that our customers' needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will also beresponsible for processing warranty claims, supporting the service department, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all manufacturer warranty requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous experience as a Dealership Service Advisor or Warranty Clerk essential (Haval/GWM specifc brand experience advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficient in computer applications and software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle repair and maintenance needs
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes
- Schedule service appointments and ensure that repairs are completed on time
- Prepare job cards and ensure all required information is captured correctly.
- Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Educate customers on preventative maintenance and recommend appropriate services
- Maintain accurate records of service history and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and promote customer loyalty
- Process vehicle warranty claims accurately and within manufacturer guidelines.
- Submit, monitor, and follow up on warranty claims until payment is received.
- Ensure all warranty documentation is complete and compliant, and maintgain accurate records
- General service department administrative duties.
