Service Ambassador

About the Role

As a Service Ambassador, you are the face of our store and the first point of contact for our customers. You play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable customer experience. Your friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure excellent service from arrival to departure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers, and being part of a team that takes pride in service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times
• Greet customers, assist with menu selections, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of orders
• Monitor the floor, seating areas, and queues to proactively assist customers
• Provide accurate information on menu items, promotions, and dietary requirements
• Upsell and suggest additional items using open-ended questions
• Process POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and telephonic orders
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen team
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and personal presentation
• Ensure front-of-house areas, service stations, and seating areas are clean and well maintained
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures
• Work collaboratively with management and team members
• Support the training of new employees in line with brand standards

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
• Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to follow operational procedures and hygiene standards
