Job description

Computers4U / Connect4U is looking for a strong and organised Service Delivery & Operations Manager to manage our daily technical field operations in George.

We provide IT support, Fibre, CCTV, Access Control, Networking and Technical Installation services to business, estate and residential clients in the Garden Route.

The successful candidate will take control of technician planning, job scheduling, Zoho / FSM compliance, stock control, project delivery, client communication and invoicing readiness.

This is a hands-on operations role. The person must be able to manage technicians, enforce procedures, follow up daily, control stock and fuel usage, and ensure that completed work is properly documented and ready for invoicing.

Responsibilities include:

Daily planning and scheduling of technicians
Running the morning operations meeting
Ensuring jobs are correctly updated in Zoho and FSM
Checking notes, photos, time, stock and job statuses
Ensuring completed work is ready for invoicing
Managing stock requests, purchases and stock used on jobs
Monitoring project timelines and technician progress
Reducing missed bookings, incomplete jobs and poor communication
Managing technician accountability and operational discipline
Reporting daily to management on jobs, projects, blockers and invoicing readiness

Requirements:

3–5 years’ experience in field-service, technical operations, installations, service delivery or project coordination
Experience managing technicians or field teams
Strong planning, scheduling and follow-up skills
Strong admin and systems discipline
Good client communication skills
Valid driver’s licence
Experience with Zoho FSM or similar systems will be advantageous
Technical background in IT, fibre, CCTV, security, networking, telecoms, electrical, solar or similar will be advantageous

Performance bonus may be considered after probation based on operational KPIs.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
