The IIE’s Emeris, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy for a Sessional Worker (Part-time Lecturer): Bachelor of Education Intermediate Phase (English)
Competencies Required:
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour's degree/Honour's degree in English/Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)/ Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences Honours degree (at NQF level 8)
And:
The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include English as a major (up to third year level).
And:
The Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF Level 8) must include English as a didactic subject.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
School teaching experience in English Literature is required. Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level. Working Conditions:
- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
- Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
- CVs should be a maximum of two pages
- Please have copies of your transcript(s), qualifications, NSC and ID readily available
- Where applicable, details of work permit must be included in your application

- Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status and residing in Pretoria.
