Job Advert Summary

To provide a full Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality function to the region.

Minimum Requirements

National Safety Management Diploma or working towards this diploma will be advantageous

5 years' experience in a similar service orientated technical business environment

NEBOSH / SAMTRAC / COMSOC or equivalent

ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001 would be an advantage

Must have drivers license

Duties and Responsibilities

Managing & maintaining safety system & standards

Liaising with customer safety department & complying with safety standards & procedures

Complying with Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations

Compiling Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) risk assessments

Drafting and implementing safe operating procedures

Accident / incident investigation and provide report thereof

Managing of contractors and contractor safety packs

Preparation and conducting S.H.E Audits

Develop S.H.E Employee awareness

Conduct site inductions

Conduct safety training

Travelling away from home for short periods when required

Report near misses, incidents in Synergi Life

Coordinate and assist with building maintenance

Submission of monthly reporting
