Role Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of operators to ensure efficient and safe production processes within the chemical manufacturing plant. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and operational knowledge to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Role Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations within the designated area of the plant, ensuring production goals and quality standards are achieved on time and in full.
Train, mentor, and support team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Monitor team performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
Coordinate workflows, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize efficiency.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for solutions.
Participate in stock counts, reconcile Raw Material stock during stock takes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Technical Requirements:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or relevant field.
3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role within the chemical industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety and quality assurance protocols.
