Shop Assistant

Silulo Ulutho Technologies is looking for a motivated, customer-focused and sales-driven Store Assitant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling company products and services, assisting walk-in clients, building a strong client base and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Silulo products and services to walk-in clients and the general public.
• Identify new business opportunities and communicate them to management.
• Build, maintain and grow a strong client database.
• Welcome and assist customers professionally and provide solutions to their needs.
• Promote company services through social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp.
• Assist customers with computer-related services and queries.
• Provide services such as photocopying, emailing, CV typing, document binding and document design.
• Assist at the cashier, delivery, collection and parcel pick-up desks.
• Support the Branch Manager with administrative duties and reporting.
• Draw and provide required reports from the Point-of-Sale system.
• Send invoices and assist with store administration.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and work towards achieving sales targets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and act as a Silulo Brand Ambassador.
• Continuously develop knowledge of customer service, computers, software and company systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Computer literacy.
• 6–12 months' experience in a retail, sales or marketing environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and conflict-management skills.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of computers and business services.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Sales-driven, proactive and target-oriented.
