Shop Floor Assistant
Crazy Plastics – Mayville
About the Role
Crazy Plastics is looking for two friendly, energetic and reliable Shop Floor Assistants to join our team in Mayville.
The successful candidates will assist with the day-to-day running of the store, provide excellent customer service and ensure that the shop floor is clean, organised and fully stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with finding products and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Replenish and arrange stock on the shop floor.
- Ensure shelves and displays are neat, clean and well presented.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking and checking stock.
- Assist with stock counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed.
- Keep the store and shop floor clean and organised.
- Assist with merchandising and promotional displays.
- Assist colleagues with general store duties when required.
- Follow company procedures relating to customer service, stock and store operations.
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the relevant supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and friendly.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Physically able to assist with stock handling and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.
