Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Attend to truck and trailer breakdowns on-site.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Conduct emergency repairs on side tipper trailers and truck tractors.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
Work closely with the workshop and operations teams to minimise downtime.
Complete breakdown reports and maintain accurate records.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to company standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience working on heavy-duty trucks and side tipper trailers.
Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to work after hours, weekends, and be available for standby duties.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Pay: From R7 000,00 per month
