Job description
Pitsana Mills is seeking reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking Skid Steer Operators & Forklift Drivers to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Skid Steer Loader or Forklift.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and transport raw materials and finished products.
- Assist with loading and offloading of trucks.
- Perform yard maintenance, cleaning, and material handling duties as required.
- Ensure stock is handled correctly to prevent damage and contamination.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and complete relevant checklists.
- Report defects, breakdowns, and safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in all work areas.
- Assist with general warehouse, yard, dispatch, and production duties when required.
- Comply with all Company safety, food safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (preferred).
- Valid Forklift Operator Certificate/Licence or Valid Skid Steer Operator Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift and/or skid steer loader.
- Experience in a manufacturing, milling, warehouse, logistics, or FMCG environment will be advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual duties when required.
- Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
