Job Description

Loads, lifts and moves articles on pallets within the warehouse. Will be loading trucks for client dispatch. For the transfer of products from production as well as loading and offloading vehicles.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4
• Skid Steer Operating License

Duties and Responsibilities

• Machinery Operation

  • Safe and efficient operation of Bobcat / skid steer equipment

  • Completion of assigned loading, moving, levelling, and cleaning tasksCompliance & Safety

  • Compliance with all safety requirements and site procedures

  • Maintenance of safe, clean, and orderly work areas

  • Full compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and biosecurity requirements

  • Proper application of site procedures for rejected, segregated, or restricted grain loads

  • Prompt reporting of incidents, hazards, and non-conformances Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP procedures throughout the grading area

Equipment Care

+ Daily pre\-start inspections completed and recorded
+ Prompt reporting of equipment faults or maintenance issues**Operational Support**


+ Effective coordination with supervisors and ground staff
+ Contribution to overall site productivity and workflow

Cellphone Usage

+ With regards to the use of cell phones in work premises, refer to the **VKB CELL PHONE PROCEDURE.**

	- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Miller, Business Unit Manager, or designated stand\-in.
