Job description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our skilled labour team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires strong technical ability, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Work from technical drawings and job specifications
- Report faults, risks, and required repairs to supervisors
- Maintain tools, equipment, and safe working environments
Mandatory Competencies
- +3 years of experience
- Certificate of Compliance
- Trade qualification or relevant electrical certification (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and fault diagnosis
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints
- Solid understanding of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
