Synergy Transformation Solutions (Pty) Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and highly organised Skills Development & Enterprise Development Coordinator to join their Human Resources team. This role is responsible for coordinating Skills Development and Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) initiatives, ensuring compliance with SETA requirements, Skills Development legislation, and the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining audit-ready records, coordinating learning programmes, managing compliance reporting, and supporting the organisation's transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes, learnerships, internships, and skills development initiatives.
- Administer Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR), ensuring accurate and timely SETA submissions.
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance registers, assessments, and programme documentation.
- Coordinate Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) initiatives and maintain audit-ready supporting documentation.
- Track Skills Development and ESD expenditure against budgets and B-BBEE targets.
- Compile reports for management, SETAs, and B-BBEE verification purposes.
- Support B-BBEE audits by preparing verification packs and liaising with verification agencies.
- Maintain accurate data across HR systems, LMS platforms, and reporting tools.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, SETAs, training providers, suppliers, and beneficiaries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Skills Development legislation, SETA requirements, and B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) Certification.
- 5–7 years' experience in Skills Development, Learning & Development, Transformation, or B-BBEE Compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Skills Development legislation
- SETA processes and reporting
- Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)
- B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience working with HRIS, LMS, or other reporting systems will be advantageous.
