Job description

PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

To prepare and serve hot/cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, drinks, blended coffees or teas according to Sweetbeet standards.
Greet and connect with customers.
Respond to customer needs and thank every customer.
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Follow all policies and procedures for operational flow of the workstation.
Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards.
Stock station with necessary products and beverage preparation items.
Ensure stock rotation and expiry dates are adhered to.
Ensure minimal wastage of products.
Works as a team and be a team player.
Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits.
Perform all duties with required speed and efficiency.
Wear the prescribed uniform and when on duty.
To ensure the highest possible standard of personal hygiene.
Be at work timeously daily.
To help in any way at functions which may occur.
To attend meetings, training and courses as stipulated by management.
To assist others and relieve in their duties if equipped with knowledge and if required.
To remove and collect refuse when and if required.
Display a strong team player attitude and have patience with fellow employees.
Adhere to the company rules and regulations at all times.
Be attentive and anticipate customer needs.
