Contract Opportunity: Snowflake DWH Consultants

We're Hiring: Snowflake DWH Consultant (Contract)

Remote || 3 months contract

Fancy getting stuck into a major data transformation programme?

We're partnering with a major international organisation on a large-scale Snowflake Data Warehouse transformation, and we're hiring three experienced Snowflake DWH Consultants to drive the migration and build phase.

This is hands-on, delivery-focused work, no BAU, no passive architecture roles. You will be building, migrating, modelling, optimising and shipping.

What you will be doing:

Writing and optimising Snowflake SQL
Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
Supporting migration from legacy DWH → Snowflake
Designing and modelling bronze, silver & gold layers (medallion architecture)
Partnering closely with Data, BI & Engineering teams
Driving data performance, scalability and structure
Owning data quality, lineage and validation across layers

What you will bring:

Strong, hands-on Snowflake SQL and data modelling
Performance tuning experience (clustering, partitioning, optimisation)
ETL/ELT pipeline development with Python and/or Pentaho (Airflow, dbt, Matillion, ADF, Talend or NiFi all welcome)
Solid medallion architecture experience across bronze, silver and gold layers Enterprise DWH background — SQL modelling, data quality, reconciliation
Experience on large-scale migration or transformation programmes
Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Qlik or Metabase
A collaborative, communicative, delivery-first mindset in fast-paced agile teams

Nice to have: cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP), a background in retail, finance, manufacturing or high-growth environments, and exposure to dbt or Data Vault 2.0.
