Job description

Location City of Ekurhuleni Remuneration R 1 131 768 to R 1 552 488 - Basic salary per annum (plus benefits) Assignment Type Permanent Minimum Requirements:

Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration or relevant equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification
Financial management qualification and/or organisational performance management qualification
NQF Level 5 Finance Management Qualification (MFMA) in terms of National Treasury requirement will serve as an advantage
5 - 8 years' experience in a support management environment

Core Responsibilities:

Develop, manage and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with the organisational administration, accounting practices and Local Government Acts
Input and advise on strategic capability and leadership to contribute and implement to the overall Departmental strategy
Ensure operational processes to ensure effective delivery of business support functions
Ensure governance and risk management compliance to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, processes and resolutions and minimize risk
Ensure effective financial management and processes to ensure the effective allocation and utilisation of funds
Drive customer service orientation to ensure excellent customer service delivery to all stakeholders
