Job description
Location City of Ekurhuleni Remuneration R 307,632 to R 421,968 - Basic salary per annum (plus benefits) Assignment Type Permanent Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced National Certificate in Finance or relevant equivalent NQF Level 5 qualification
- 5 years' experience in a supply chain environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects relating to the preparation of payment vouchers to enable the central creditors office to pay creditors
- Perform operational processes to ensure all payments are done effectively and timeously in accordance with the Council Procurement Policy
- Apply governance and risk management to reduce the risk of losses
- Apply financial processes to comply with the MFMA
- Maintain customer service orientation to ensure a performance driven section and contribute to overall Departmental objectives
