Social Media Assistant

We're The Wedding Marketers, a fast-growing wedding venue marketing agency on a mission to become the world's biggest. We help venues attract more couples and book more weddings through branding, social media, and a powerful marketing system we built from scratch.

We're looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our tight-knit remote team. If you've got a sharp design eye, love creating content that actually converts, and take pride in delivering great work alongside a team that actually cares, we want to hear from you.

Who We Are

Founded by Kai and Trey, The Wedding Marketers grew from a single family wedding venue into the UK's fastest-growing wedding venue marketing agency. We've worked with more than 70 venues, primarily across the UK.

Our team is small, ambitious, and fully remote.

The Role

You'll be embedded across multiple venue accounts, working as an extension of each venue's marketing team. You'll be building brands, managing social channels, writing email and WhatsApp nurturing sequences, and creating content that turns newly engaged couples into bookings.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Branding & Onboarding:

Assisting with brand kit development and brochures for new venues

Assisting with new client onboarding & setup: email and WhatsApp sequences

2. Social Media Management:

Creating and scheduling content for Instagram and Facebook

Designing stories, reels, and feed posts that are on-brand and conversion-focused

Handling inbox management

Building and optimising automated email and WhatsApp sequences

Must-Haves

A strong design eye - your work looks premium without lots of revisions, knows how to use Canva inside and out.

Excellent copywriting - you can write captions and emails that convert, personalised and not AI-heavy. 

Self-motivated - you manage your time, hit your deadlines, and ask when unsure.

Organised - because "how you do one thing is how you do everything".

Reliable communication - we're fully remote, so clear written communication matters.

English fluency - written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Experience in the wedding or hospitality industry

Reel editing skills (video or static)

Familiarity with Canva, Metricool,
