Noah by Charles Hope is looking for a creative, proactive and hands-on Social Media & Content Specialist to join our marketing team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands social media, knows how to create engaging content and is comfortable taking an idea from concept through to finished photography, video or Reel.
You will be responsible for Noah's day-to-day social media content, including photography, Reels, TikToks, Stories, events, influencer collaborations and PR initiatives. You will also play an active role in driving marketing and publicity opportunities for Noah and the wider Charles Hope brand.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager while also supporting the wider Charles Hope marketing function when required.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Cape Town. Evening and weekend work will be required for selected events and activations.
What you'll do
· Manage Noah's social media across Instagram, TikTok and relevant platforms, including planning, scheduling, publishing and community engagement.
· Maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure there is always content ready to publish.
· Create 3–4 Reels/short-form videos per week, alongside regular photography, feed posts and Stories.
· Photograph and film food, drinks, the restaurant, staff, guests and events.
· Edit engaging short-form content and develop creative ideas around everyday restaurant activity, promotions and campaigns.
· Cover Noah events, including evening and weekend events.
· Keep up with social media trends, sounds, formats and platform changes, and identify opportunities to test new content.
· Research and coordinate local influencers, content creators and UGC creators, including visits, collaborations and follow-ups.
· Monitor social media performance, provide regular reporting and use insights to improve future content.
· Support the Marketing Manager with campaigns, promotions and wider marketing activity across Charles Hope.
PR, Marketing & Brand Exposure – New Statue Project
· Take ownership of the marketing, social media and PR rollout for the creation and installation of a brand-new bespoke statue.
· Drive an immediate marketing and PR campaign to generate awareness, excitement and public interest around the project, from the initial concept and crafting process through to the final unveiling.
· Develop and coordinate PR opportunities, including press releases, media engagement, local publicity, influencer collaborations and potential partnerships.
· Work closely with the statue's designers and creators to capture the story, craftsmanship and concept behind the piece, turning it into an engaging brand and publicity opportunity.
· Create and coordinate behind-the-scenes photography, video content, progress updates and launch-day coverage to maximise visibility and engagement.
· Proactively identify opportunities for local media coverage, community engagement, influencer exposure and brand positioning.
· Ensure the statue project receives immediate and consistent marketing attention, positioning it as a distinctive feature and potential landmark for the Charles Hope brand.
