Job description:

We’re seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator / Operator to shape and elevate our online presence. You’ll design and deliver engaging content that resonates with homeowners, architects, builders, and outdoor-living enthusiasts—showcasing Timmdek’s brand personality, product benefits, and values through compelling storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and follow a social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, DIY tips, and seasonal promotions.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality visual and written content—images, short-form videos (Reels/Stories), captions, and blog post visuals—that highlight Timmdek’s decking solutions in action.
• Product Showcasing: Demonstrate product features, before & after transformations, installation processes, and design ideas to inspire audience engagement.
• Platform Management: Maintain Timmdek’s profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn; post, schedule, and respond to comments, messages, and engagement.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics (likes, shares, impressions, website referral, follower growth); generate monthly reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Sales, —develop campaign concepts, highlight product updates.

Skills & Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience managing social media for brands or in an agency.
• Proficient with visual content tools (Canva, Basic Photoshop/Premiere Pro/Illustrator); experience with Reels/Stories editing is a plus.
• Strong copywriting skills—clear, engaging, on-brand. Familiarity with each platform’s best practices and content formats. Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working to deadlines and publishing schedules.
• Creative thinker with a passion for outdoor living, design, or sustainable products.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Valid license and reliable vehicle (Preferred)
