Position: Social Worker
Report to: Ekurhuleni Outpatient Programme Manager
Office: Tembisa Office
Start date: 3rd August 2026

Central Gauteng Mental Health Society is seeking a qualified Social Worker to support the delivery of Community Based Mental Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Render Social Work services to people with mental illness and intellectual disability including those experiencing trauma and life crisis.
- Utilize all Social Work intervention methods.
- Deliver holistic service to clients.
- Facilitate awareness programmes.
- Compile monthly report and statistics.
- Liaise/networking with other organizations.
- Assist with fundraising projects.
- Commitment to providing high quality client-centered care.
