We have an exciting opportunity available for a Packer for the Company’s at the Head Office in Bellville, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure compliance with the standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Packing department

· Ensure that the production tools and resources are set out on your workstation before the time.

· Raise any discrepancies regarding incorrect work to the Packing Team leader/Supervisor as soon as received from the Examining department.

· Capture the production achieved for the day on the production ticket.

· Submit daily Report before the end of your shift of all damage and excess packing.

· Ensure that you meet your daily production target set out.

· Ensure that all work is completed right the first time.

· Ensure that your workstation is clean, tidy and no eating at your workstation

· Always Abide by the POPI Act and raise any concerns regarding the POPI act with your manager.

· Act in the best interest of the company.

· Comply with all legal requirements, including the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct displayed in the company.

· Conduct regular inspections on the product.

Requirements

· Skills and knowledge gained in the business will be advantageous.

· Must be employed (On the Payroll) in current position for more than 1 year.

· Must have basic literacy skills and numeracy skills

· The ability to follow set procedures

· The ability to pay attention to details

· Be able to work shifts

· Be punctual

· Willingness to work overtime

· Be able to work under pressure

· Ability to work accurately.

· Good interpersonal skills

· Sound knowledge of quality and commitment to maintain standards
