Job description
Position: Open Source GitHub Maintainer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150 - $300/hour
Location: Remote, Open Globally
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate code patches generated by LLMs and provide detailed feedback
- Review submitted work from other subject-matter experts
- Provide written justification for code assessments
- Maintain repository activity and ensure quality standards
- Conduct peer reviews to enhance code quality
- Collaborate with other experts to improve project outcomes
- Showcase clear open source contributions on platforms like GitHub
Requirements
- Experience with C++, Java, Python, and other programming languages
- Strong knowledge of GitHub and collaborative coding practices
- Proven track record of open source contributions and activity
- Ability to communicate technical feedback clearly and effectively
- Familiarity with reviewing code and providing constructive criticism
- Previous experience in software development or related fields
- No prior AI experience is required
