Software Sales Representative

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Software Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the sales of our software solutions.

This role is suited to someone who understands technology, enjoys working with customers, and can confidently communicate the value of software solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospective clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
• Understand customer requirements and position the appropriate software solution.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Work closely with technical, product and management teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed.
• Attend client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities where required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and potential opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and sales activity within the company's CRM system.
• Support existing customers with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in software, technology or B2B sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and pipeline management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a clear and practical way.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable engaging with decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
