  • Log, track, and retest defects in a bug-tracking system, with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and severity ratings.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and support teams during sprint planning, standups, and release cycles.
  • Support test automation efforts by creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-OS testing (Windows, Android, iOS, cloud-based apps).
  • Support performance, load, and basic security testing as required.
  • Participate in release readiness reviews and provide clear go/no-go recommendations based on test results.
  • Document test results, coverage, and quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and test documentation.
  • Follow company standards for data security, PCI compliance, and change management.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience writing test cases, executing test runs, and logging defects.
  • Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and back-end testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, REST Assured).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN, IP addresses, connectivity troubleshooting).
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Willingness to work US-aligned hours as part of a rotating schedule.
