Job description
Job Purpose:
The Solar Installer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sites for solar PV installation
- Mount panels, connect wiring, and test systems
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical standards
- Work closely with engineers and electricians on project delivery
Requirements:
- Experience in solar PV installation (residential, commercial, or utility-scale)
- Knowledge of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Relevant trade certification or training in solar installation
