YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Solution Design Engineer, to design and develop comprehensive solutions that meet our client’s business requirements. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business development, ZDS, finance, SD and operations, to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Work with clients to understand their warehouse operations and business requirements.

Design and develop comprehensive warehouse solutions that optimize operations and reduce costs.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

Create detailed solution designs, including layouts, process flows, and material handling systems.

Create innovative presentations to clarify the solution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and operations teams, to develop and implement effective solutions.

Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

For new business processes, supports the most-lean and zero defect startup (Zero Defect Startup - ZDS) activities, simulates the lean method and methods used in processes that do not exist yet, and supports new installations (implementation).

Know the procedures and policies of Integrated Management Systems and carry out his/her works within the framework of these procedures and policies.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify new opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Maintain SD databases and other reports for internal and external use

Be compliant with any CEVA Business Rules and Core Values.

Perform other duties as requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

At least 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse solution design and implementation

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics

Strong understanding of supply chain management, contract logistics, and industry trends and best practices.

Experience with warehouse automation systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.

Financial acumen.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally

Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles is a plus

Familiarity with relevant software and systems, including but not limited to MS Office and Auto

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders.

Well organized, flexible and able to work with across various functions and able to communicate at all levels in the organization
