Qualified Somatologist

Paarl, Western Cape | Full-Time, Fixed + Commission-Based | Reports to: Senior Somatologist / Team Lead

ROLE PURPOSE

The Qualified Somatologist is part of the treatment team at The Ton Beauty & Social Lounge, delivering our skin, beauty and body treatments to a premium, exacting standard. This is a hands-on, client-facing role — you're the person a client trusts with her skin, her time, and her sense of feeling good about herself.

Newly qualified somatologists are genuinely welcome here. What matters far more than years of experience is the care, precision and pride you bring to every treatment, and your willingness to grow into the standard we hold at The Ton.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver facials, waxing/threading/tinting, brow lamination and other treatments within your scope, to a consistently premium standard
• Use and represent our premium product lines (including Lamelle) with proper care and product knowledge
• Maintain rigorous hygiene, protocol and safety standards in every treatment, every time
• Contribute to a warm, considered client experience from the moment a client sits down with you
• Work closely with and learn from the Senior Somatologist & Team Lead, and support the wider team as needed
• Help build genuine client relationships that bring people back — this is about care and connection, not just a task list

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• A recognised Somatology / beauty therapy qualification (newly qualified graduates welcome to apply)
• Genuine care and precision in your technical work — attention to detail matters enormously here
• A willingness to learn, grow, and be coached into The Ton's standard and brand voice
• Reliability and a strong sense of personal accountability
• ISA students encouraged.
