Sonographer - UK Relocation Opportunity

Diagnostic Healthcare (DHC) is seeking experienced Sonographers to join our growing ultrasound services across the UK DHC, as one of the largest independent providers of diagnostic services provides services to both the NHS and private clients.

About the role

As a Sonographer, you will provide a high-quality ultrasound scanning and reporting service, working autonomously across DHC community and hospital-based services.

You will be responsible for:

• Undertaking a range of ultrasound examinations within your scope of practice.
• Producing accurate, independent diagnostic reports.
• Providing excellent patient care and maintaining professional standards.
• Working in line with DHC, NHS and local clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Contributing to clinical governance, audit and continuing professional development.
• Supporting the development and training of colleagues where appropriate.

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g. DMU, PgCert, PgDip, MSc or equivalent).
• Relevant professional registration, such as HCPC, where applicable.
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in General Medical and Gynaecology ultrasound.
• Ability to work autonomously and produce accurate diagnostic reports.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
• Ability to use patient management systems and PACS.
• High standard of spoken and written English.

Desirable:

• Experience in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and/or Small Parts ultrasound.
• Degree and professional registration in Diagnostic Radiography

For international applicants, overseas qualifications should ideally be supported by evidence of UK ENIC comparability or another recognised equivalency assessment. Candidates must also meet the relevant English language, professional registration and UK immigration requirements.
