Job Purpose:

To ensure that all guests are welcomed and received in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel Service Standards,while managing treatment reservations to maximize spa occupancy. The Spa Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a warm first impression,coordinating bookings,and supporting the smooth operation of the spa.

Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:

• Grade12
• 2 years’ reception experience in a 4/5* Hotel or spa establishment.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook,Word and Excel
• Experience of a Spa Management System
• Highly presentable
• Excellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work flexible working hours; shifts,week-ends,public holidays,extended hours to accommodate the changing needs of the business

Advantageous Experience and Qualification Desired:

• Retail sales experience
• Exposure to Premier Spa advantageous

Key Performance Objectives:

To ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day running of the Spa Reception Desk by:

• taking,recording and confirming spa reservation on Premier Spa in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards
• responding to all reception e-mails on day of receipt by close of business daily.
• reconciling,accounting for,and drop-saving all daily cash and credit card receipts in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel cash-up procedures
• maximising revenue generating opportunities,whilst enhancing the guest service experience,through product retailing,in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards
• orientating spa guests about the spa facilities and amenities in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards

completing the daily administrative and shift preparation functions for the Spa in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards
