Duties and Responsibilities

Demand Management & Single Front Door Intake Support

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Single Front Door intake process for technology, operational, strategic, analytical, reporting, transformation and project demand.
  • Review incoming demand submissions for completeness, quality and minimum information requirements, including business problem, desired outcome, urgency, impacted area, affected system, dependency, timing and expected value.
  • Prepare intake items for triage by consolidating background information, stakeholder inputs, affected systems, expected benefits, known risks, delivery complexity and capacity considerations.
  • Assist with demand classification recommendations by analysing whether requests may be strategic projects, standard projects, enhancements, operational changes, data requests, reporting requests, vendor-related demand or BAU activities.
  • Support prioritisation scoring inputs by assessing strategic alignment, business value, risk reduction, compliance drivers, complexity, urgency and capacity impact.
  • Maintain visibility of the demand pipeline, including new intake, awaiting triage, under assessment, assigned, deferred, rejected and routed items.
  • Track demand routing outcomes and ensure decisions are reflected in Monday.com / EPPM governance views where applicable.
  • Provide demand pipeline reporting to support capacity planning, prioritisation discussions and governance forums.

Benefits Realisation & Value Management

  • Work with Sponsors, Business Owners, Project Managers and delivery teams to define measurable success criteria, value drivers and benefit KPIs at initiation / planning stage.
  • Maintain the Benefits Tracker for initiatives where benefits tracking is required, including benefit owner, baseline, target, measurement timing, evidence source and realisation status.
  • Track financial and non-financial benefits including efficiency gains, risk reduction, compliance improvement, learner / staff experience improvement, enablement benefits, cost optimisation and operational performance improvements.
  • Identify benefits realisation risks, data gaps, delayed measurement, weak ownership or unclear benefit definitions and escalate through the appropriate E-PMO governance route.
  • Support post-implementation reviews to confirm whether intended benefits were achieved and capture lessons learned for future initiatives.
  • Support quarterly benefits reviews with Business Owners and Sponsors.

Portfolio Reporting, Analytics & Dashboarding

  • Produce consolidated portfolio reporting and insights for the Senior Manager: Enterprise Projects, National Manager, SteerCo, MBRs and other governance forums.

  • Analyse portfolio trends across delivery status, RAG health, milestones, overdue actions, RAID themes, dependencies, priority levels, expected benefit, benefits tracking requirement and delivery capacity indicators.
  • Provide early visibility of governance risks, stale updates, incomplete fields, reporting inconsistencies, benefits gaps and portfolio data quality issues.
  • Support the quarterly portfolio review process by ensuring initiative status, risk profile, benefits data and reporting information are current and decision-ready.
  • Translate portfolio data into clear, concise insights that support decision-making rather than only producing activity reports.
