About the Role
The Specialist Learning & Development role focuses on enhancing employee skills and knowledge to drive organizational performance. You will design and implement learning initiatives that align with business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of diverse teams across the organization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify skills gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Create and manage content for e-learning platforms, workshops, and training sessions to ensure consistent delivery of materials.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions, engaging employees and promoting a supportive learning environment.
- Track and analyze training metrics to evaluate program success and employee engagement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance program offerings.
- Mentor team members and provide support in their professional development pathways.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in learning and development, with a strong understanding of instructional design principles.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating effective training programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring training effectiveness and using data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in e-learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Certification in training methodologies or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD, or similar).
- Experience with coaching and mentoring initiatives in a corporate setting.
- Familiarity with digital content creation tools and social learning platforms.
