Salary: Market Related Sun International is looking for a Specialist: Learning & Development to design and deliver engaging learning solutions that build critical organisational capabilities. The role will identify learning needs, develop blended and digital learning interventions, partner with business stakeholders and SMEs, and use learning insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness and experience.

Job Description

The Specialist: Learning & Development applies specialist expertise to design, develop and deliver high-quality learning solutions that build critical capabilities across the organisation. The role partners with L&D leadership, business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to identify capability gaps and translate learning needs into scalable, engaging and effective interventions, while driving continuous improvement in learning design, delivery and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development or a related field [Required]
• Demonstrated experience with adult learning principles and modern learning methodologies [Required]
• Professional certification in Instructional Design, such as CPTD, CPLP or ATD [Preferred]

Experience:

• 5–8 years’ relevant Learning & Development experience
• Learning design and instructional design
• Learning delivery, facilitation and measurement
• Learning needs analysis and capability gap assessment
• Development of learning programmes, materials and resources
• Learning technology and digital learning platforms
• Learning Management System (LMS) administration and support
• Blended learning and e-learning development
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) and business stakeholder partnering
• Capability development
• Evaluation of learning effectiveness and implementation of improvements
