Job description
Motus Aftermarket Parts is searching for a Sales Specialist in Durban.To provide expertise, advice, and support to the Business Development Manager in executing key functions of the Klutch program rollout related to sales growth, customer relationship management, and enterprise development projects.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Specialist in spares/motor/engine parts
- Extensive experience in a sales and marketing environment within the automotive industry
- Must have a valid driver’s license – essential
- Thorough knowledge of the geographical area of responsibility
- Must be prepared to travel extensively
- Basic knowledge of the operations of an internal combustion engine
- Technical/mechanical background – desirable
- Product knowledge
- Must have good communication skills and present themselves in a professional manner
- Must be a good team player and goal-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Honest and demonstrates integrity
- Clear criminal record
Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to.
- Coordinate and implement the Klutch programme rollout nationally
- Act as the first point of contact with customers, portraying professionalism and confidence, delivering the highest level of customer service
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, escalating issues where necessary
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Retail, Finance, HR) to ensure alignment and resource availability
- Track and monitor Klutch programme sales growth initiatives and prepare monthly performance reports
- Achieve revenue targets by generating new business, growing the customer base, and increasing market share within the geographical area of responsibility
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and submit them to the Business Development Manager
- Support and oversee the performance of the Klutch administration team
- Promote and represent the company at various industry platforms such as activations, exhibitions, and conferences
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and progress reports
- Report all competitor pricing and new market entrants
- Conduct ongoing surveys to stay up to date with industry trends
- Act as the point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the Business Development Manager
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to BSOP and company values
