Specialist ? Systems, Data Analytics and Reporting Excellence

ROLE PURPOSE

To support the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence in enabling reliable procurement systems, high-quality data, actionable analytics and fit-for-purpose reporting across the Group. The role focuses on procurement system configuration and support, workflow enablement, master data quality, dashboard development, automation, AI-enabled analytics and reporting excellence. It ensures that approved procurement processes and governance requirements are embedded into systems, translated into measurable data outputs and converted into insights that improve operational performance, compliance visibility and decision-making across all markets.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Systems Adoption & Workflow Enablement - Contributes towards the overall achievement procurement systems adoption across the group, maintaining system change documentation, release notes and user guidance linked to approved process and workflow enhancements

Systems Automation, Data Quality & User Experience

Collaborate with business units / markets and suppliers to streamline requisition-to-purchase order (R2PO) and purchase order-to-payment (P2P) processes

Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to streamline procurement workflows and reduce manual interventions

Ensure accurate configuration and maintenance of procurement master data, approval workflows, and reporting dashboards

Monitor and report on system performance, user adoption, and process compliance metrics across the Group

Data Analytics & Reporting

Design, enhance, and maintain procurement analytics platforms and dashboards by infusing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, spend visibility, and decision intelligence

Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis to support cost optimisation, supplier performance improvement, and process efficiency

Ensure alignment of procurement data governance and reporting standards across all markets, in collaboration with group IT and Finance

Generate and distribute periodic procurement performance reports (e.g., spend analysis, supplier performance, compliance metrics, ESG compliance) to key stakeholders

Digital ESG Data Capture & Reporting Enablement

Digitise and maintain ESG reporting workflows, supplier assessment data, sustainability metrics, and related dashboards to ensure reliable ESG datasets that support procurement reporting and informed decision-making

Collaborate with stakeholders, i.e. Group Risk and Sustainability teams to drive procurement’s input into ESG risk assessments, including the automation of ESG evaluation and reporting processes

Policy-Linked System Configuration & Access Controls

Ensure all procurement systems, workflows, and approval hierarchies are configured in full alignment with the Group Procurement Policy and governance framework

Support with conducting periodic audits and compliance checks on procurement transactions, system setups, and user access controls to ensure policy alignment

Collaborate with Group Risk, Legal, and IT to ensure continuous alignment of procurement systems with evolving governance, data protection, and regulatory standards

Accountable for:

Workflow Automation & User Experience: Design and implement system-enabled workflow automation that improves procurement efficiency, accuracy and user experience, based on process requirements defined by the Governance role.

AI, Analytics & Decision Intelligence: Collaborate with IT and Procurement Excellence teams to embed AI, analytics and automation tools that convert approved data requirements into actionable insights and reporting outputs.

System-Embedded Compliance Controls: Configure, monitor and report on system usage, transaction compliance, approval workflows and data-quality controls to ensure approved governance requirements are embedded in systems.

Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor system usage and transaction compliance to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and policy thresholds, proactively identify and mitigate risks related to system integrity, data quality, and process deviations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track procurement performance, compliance metrics, and process efficiency in a timely and accurate manner.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support: Act as a subject matter expert on procurement systems, process optimisation, and automation best practices.

Digital Governance & Data Integrity: Lead Maintenance and optimisation of procurement system configurations, workflows, and approval hierarchies in full alignment with the Group Procurement Policy and governance standards.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Data Sciences, Computer Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or data related field of study is essential

Professional certification in procurement or ERP and sourcing systems (e.g., CIPS, MS Dynamics fundamentals / associate level, Google Data Analytics / Advanced Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, CompTIA Data+ or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)) advantageous

CIPS or any supply chain related professional body an advantage

4-8 years' experience with Procurement systems administration, workflow automation, data analytics and reporting within procurement/supply chain environments essential

Experience in procurement data management, dashboard development, systems reporting and data-driven performance insights

Hands-on experience with digital tools, analytics platforms, or AI-driven compliance and reporting systems

Experience digitising supplier assessment or compliance reporting datasets and dashboards

Knowledge Areas

Understanding of procurement governance frameworks and compliance standards

Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., ERP, eProcurement, workflow automation, or contract management platforms)

Knowledge of ethical sourcing and supplier code of conduct

Excellent computer skills using the Microsoft Office suite and databases

Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for performance tracking and reporting
